Vastavam Web: Bharatiya Janata Party on Thursday took serious exception to the statement of Telangana chief minster K Chandrasekhar Rao that he would wage a war against Prime Minister Narendra Modi by consolidating all the anti-BJP and anti-Congress forces.
“KCR’s statements only shows that he is insecure and shaken with the imminent possibility of BJP’s rise across Telangana State, inclusive of immense prospects of winning majority seats in GHMC elections,” BJP official spokesman K Krishna Sagar Rao said. He said KCR’s reference of PM Narendra Modi and announcing his plan to wage a war against BJP led Central Government, was irrelevantly timed in the run-up to GHMC elections. “This is just a ‘sabre rattling’ from KCR nothing more. This is not the first time KCR has threatened to build an anti-BJP alliance from Telangana state,” Rao said.
