Vastavam Web: Balli Durga Prasad, a Lok Sabha MP of the YSR Congress from Tirupati, passed away in a hospital in Chennai due to the coronavirus infection.
Durga Prasad had tested positive for the virus quite some time ago, and was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai, where he had been receiving treatment ever since. Today, unfortunately, the politician has passed away.
In 1985, Durga Prasad became the MLA of Guduru, when he was just 28. He won four times from Guduru as an MLA, and joined YSRCP right before the 2019 elections. Durga Prasad had also very actively participated in the election campaign in 2019, and was very active in his constituency after elections as well.
Sadly, the politician passed away today, leaving a big hole for the YSRCP to fill.
