Vastavam web: Four months after the election result, Chandrababu Naidu seems to have found reason for his party’s defeat in 2019 polls. Naidu reasoned that fight with Modi and BJP has costed him power. Introspecting party’s failure, Naidu opined that fight with Modi has caused huge loss to TDP whereas he admitted that it has not gained anything to the state and people.
Recalling the fight with Modi, Chandrababu said he was hell-bent on the demands of the state and interests of people. He said he hasn’t compromised on state’s interests and thus at the receiving end. He said he had no personal rivalry with Modi or BJP.
He said all he was fighting for AP’s interests and the promises made to the state by Centre including in AP Reorganization Act. Naidu said the situation would have been totally different had he been good with Modi.
Chandrababu also confessed that a section of people who had hugely benefited from government schemes haven’t voted for TDP. Stating all these, Naidu told leaders and party workers not to make further mistakes in future.
