Vastavam web: On Tuesday Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan made official announcement that he is going to contest from two assembly constituencies. There were a lot of speculations going on about Pawan Kalyan’s seat. He himself confirmed that, he will be contesting from two places. He will contest from two seats – Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka. The decision was taken after his party’s general body felt it would help the party if he contests from two seats.
This is the first time that Power Star Pawan Kalyan is entering the battle of polls though he campaigned for his brother Megastar Chiranjeevi’s party Prajarajyam in 2009 and for TDP – BJP combine in 2014. Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena Party has forged an alliance with Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Left parties in Andhra Pradesh. Pawan Kalyan has said his party had also given 21 assembly seats to BSP in Andhra Pradesh where simultaneous elections to the state will also be held on 11th April whereas CPI and CPM will contest in 14 assembly seats together.
On Tuesday, Pawan Kalyan’ Jana Sena party made announcement about the candidates for one more Lok Sabha seat and 13 Assembly seats in Andhra Pradesh. Bellamkonda Saibaba will contest from Ongole parliamentary constituency.
