Telangana CM wants puppet govt in AP: Chandrababu

Vastavam web: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday suggested that should YSR Congress Party win the upcoming state Assembly elections, Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) would rule the state as backseat driver. “KCR is supporting Jagan as he wants a puppet government in Andhra.

Naidu said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah are experts in cheating and betraying… Andhra Pradesh got injustice due to KCR and Prime Minister Modi. But Jagan has colluded with them and betraying the state… Do we need a person who killed his own uncle and destroyed all the evidences?”

“KCR comes to Visakhapatnam in the name of performing ‘puja’. When KCR who had worked for me shows such attitude, how much attitude I should have? We have launched Mission 150+. We have to win all 25 MP seats in the state,” asserted Naidu, while talking about Lok Sabha elections. The Chief Minister called upon party workers to ensure the votes of every SHG member, pensioner, auto-driver and other beneficiaries of various welfare schemes and extend support to TDP in the upcoming elections.

Addressing district-level party workers and leaders in the city on Sunday, Naidu said that it is a historical necessity to retain power in the state in the forthcoming elections. It is not just the question of coming to power in the state, the cadre should strive to bag all the 25 Lok Sabha seats to be able to play a vital role in selecting the Prime Minister candidate at the Centre.

During his one-hour-long address Chandrababu Naidu detailed the outcomes of his government’s welfare schemes and developmental programmes over the past five years. He assured to continue ‘Pasupu-Kumkuma’ in the next five years also and claimed it as a gift from the elder brother of Andhra Pradesh family.
