Vastavam web: TDP senior leader Adala Prabhakar Reddy said that he had suggested to the Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to hike pensions to suppress criticism by opposition parties. The former minister criticised that the Chief Minister has been leading the State in right direction towards excellent growth in all spheres and the opposition has been making unnecessary criticism for cheap publicity.
“I explained to the Chief Minister that the opposition is luring the common people by making many assurances and suggested that the ruling party has to do something. But, the Chief Minister initially said no as the state is facing financial crisis. He appealed to the party cadre to take responsibility of distributing the pensions on time. He also said the Chief Minister planning to provide financial assistance to the farmers under Rytu Lakshmi scheme which is yet to be finalised.
