Vastavam web: ‘Mukhyamantri Yuva Nestham’ scheme officially launched today in Andhra Pradesh. Through this scheme, government will give away an amount of Rs 1000 as monthly unemployment allowance to the eligible, jobless youth in the state. CM Chandra Babu Naidu launched this scheme today and interacted with youngsters at Undavalli. Local ministers and MLAs are distributing the unemployment allowance certificates to the beneficiaries in all 175 constituencies in the state.
As per the officials, ‘Mukhyamantri Yuva Nestham’ scheme is not just about giving money to unemployed every month. It also focuses on skill development and apprenticeship opportunities to unemployed youth.CM told, the primary purpose of the scheme is to empower youth by providing skill development, self-employment opportunities and use youth power for the development of the economy.
Top officials from private companies like Kia Motors, Foxconn and Amara Raja also present during the event and it needs to be seen how the government can coordinate this private sector and unemployed youth.
