Bharat wins over Japan by 4-3

Vastavam web: In Azlan Shah Hockey tournament Bharat lost to the defending champion Australia but won against Japan with 4-3 score on Wednesday. Japan’s rank is lower than India’s rank but faught till the end in such a way that India was just saved by Mandeep Singh’s​ hattrick goals. After the match started in 6th minute Rupinder Paul made the penalty corner into a goal and Bharat got a lead of 1-0. In ninth minute Japan lost the penalty corner but the very next minute striker Murata Kauzama made a field goal and the score became equal 1-1, as the regular goalkeeper Sreejesh is not playing in the match, Japan took the advantage of it and played aggressively, in 43rd minute Yosihara made a field goal and the score board showed 2-1 lead for Japan. When the match was almost towards Japan, Mandeep made two goals and brought victory to Bharat. This Friday in the last league, Bharat plays against Malaysia, the host country.
