Covid-19 Strain In India: AIIMS Director Sensational Comments Of Virus

Vastavam Web: The new mutant strain of coronavirus detected in the European country United Kingdom paved its way into India too. So far, 20 infections related to the strain were detected in India.

All of the infected people were traced and shifted to a state-run quarantine facility accordingly. Their first and second contacts have been traced and tested for the pandemic.

Though the primary and secondary contacts of the infected people tested negative for the pandemic. They have been shifted to a quarantine facility as per the Covid-19 protocols. The new strain left a heavy toll on Bengaluru as the Karnataka government has suspended the New Year celebrations in Bengaluru. The government has also imposed 144 sections during night times.

The other day, an apartment complex in Bengaluru has been shut down by the Municipal Corporation after two residents of the Apartment have tested positive for the new virus strain. Making things worse, AIIMS director Randeep Guleria said, the Britain strain of pandemic might have entered India even before we thought. He guessed that the virus might have entered during November-December.

However, he said, though the new strain is more transmissible compared to the previous strain, we need not worry about it too much but weighed in on taking the required measures.
