Vastavam Web: Hyderabad witnessed heavy rains on Tuesday with water-logging on roads and inundation of some low-lying areas. The incessant rains caused traffic jams in different areas in the city and several other parts of Telangana reported similar weather conditions.
Many roads in the city washed away with the flood water and the Hyderabad and Bengaluru national highway is completely damaged and filled with the rainwater.
The officials have closed either side of the road and suggested the passengers to go for the alternative routes to reach their destinations.
According to reports, around 29.8 centimetre of rainfall has been recorded in GHMC limits at Hayatnagar and around 32.3 centimeter has been recorded in the outskirts of the city at Ghatkeswar. This is all-time record rainfall in Hyderabad,
