Vastavam web: In the US, a round of accusations continues between the presidential elections in November. The issue of blacks also dominates the election campaign. Trump has also been accused by Democrats of violence against blacks in America. Along with it, Trump has mentioned former President Richard Nixon several times. Donald Trump says Nixon had won by fighting such accusations. At present, people are constantly bringing Donald Trump to the fore over allegations of atrocities on blacks. Similar cases had also appeared during the tenure of former President Richard Nixon.
Now, in the meantime, some tapes have surfaced where Nixon can be heard making obscene comments on Indians and Indian women. According to a report, the tape was quoted by Princeton Professor of International Relations and author Gary J. Bass as saying, “Nixon had made several comments for Indian women. These new tapes are of the period when India was very much inclined towards the Soviet Union, while Pakistan was in support of President Nixon.”
Furthermore, on 4 November 1971, Bass noted that when the president was in conversation with then Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, he was heard saying “To me, they turn me off. How the hell do they turn other people on, Henry? Tell me. “They are repulsive and it’s just easy to be tough with them,” he added.
In the tapes, the author claimed, Nixon compared Indian women to Black women and said, “I mean, people say, what about the Black Africans? Well, you can see something, the vitality there, I mean they have a little animallike charm, but God, those Indians, ack, pathetic. Uch.” In another instance, on 12 November 1971, while discussing the India-Pakistan war with Kissinger and his Secretary of State William P. Rogers, Nixon has been quoted as saying, “I don’t know how they reproduce!”
