Vastavam web: After more than two weeks of strike taken up by RTC employees, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has on Thursday spoke about it to the press. Hitting out at RTC strike, CM KCR said that it will only lead to end of RTC in the state.
His comments didn’t go down well with RTC union members. Reacting to it, JAC convenor Ashwathama Reddy took a serious objection to the comments made on strike and countered saying: ‘People of Telangana will decide who will see the end. The comments by KCR hurt sentiments of RTC employees. They are indicating his arrogancy on our RTC union.’
While KCR criticised the strike as directionless and completely illegal, Mr. Reddy fired back saying “RTC em KCR Ayya Jagiru Kadu (RTC is not KCR’s father property). It is the hardwork of thousands of RTC employees and only because of the unions, TSRTC is still alive & active.”
