Vastavam web: AP CM will participate in a series of programmes in the month of October, including launching of the Village Secretariats, providing Rs 10,000 to auto and cab drivers as direct cash benefit, Kanti Velugu and Rythu Bharosa programmes. Jagan will launch Village Secretariats at Karapa village in East Godavari district on October 2. On the day the Chief Minister will leave from Tadepalli to Karapa village near Kakinada and inaugurate a pylon. Later, he will visit stalls arranged on the occasion and participate in a public meeting.
On October 4, Jagan will participate in a programme to provide Rs 10,000 financial assistance per annum to auto and car drivers. The Kanti Velugu programme, aimed at screening the eyes of all in the State will be launched by the Chief Minister on October 10 and it will continue till January next year. Later, the government will perform surgeries to patients who need them within a period of two years.
On the other hand, the Chief Minister is also scheduled to participate in the direct cash distribution programme intended to benefit farmers.
