Amaravati Capital doesn’t have any legal sanctity: Botsa

Vastavam web: After kickstarting a huge storm with his statements on Amaravati not being a safe place to be Andhra capital, YSRCP minister Botsa Satyanarayana has raked up a new storm, again on Amaravati. The state minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development said in a presser on Saturday that there is no official gazette notification on Amaravati as the capital of Andhra Pradesh.

Botsa said that Amaravati doesn’t have any legal sanctity as the previous TDP government didn’t even notify 29 villages in Amaravati as part of the capital city in the state gazette, thus failing to give Amaravati the official capital status.
