Vastavam web: The BJP which has decided to go aggressive in Telangana to strengthen its base feels that the ‘Vaastu of the state’ would change in 2022. BJP national working president J P Nadda on his maiden visit to Hyderabad made these remarks at a huge public meeting on Sunday. This comment of Nadda comes in the wake of the proposal of the state government to demolish the secretariat building and construct an iconic building in its place.
Sounding highly critical of the state government and its policies, Nadda said the government here was following a policy of demolition and was behaving in an autocratic manner. Referring to the Kaleshwaram project, Nadda said the project has turned out to be “Pavitra Naam Ganda Kaam”. He said while the project cost got escalated, it has not been able to irrigate any new area so far. He also alleged that Mission Kakatiya was a ‘mission for commissions’. Similarly, schemes like Mission Bhagiratha could not take water to the houses of the people in the state and Haritha Haram programme did not achieve anything as no atmospheric changes have been noticed.
“The TRS government because of its autocratic attitude had deprived the people of the state form enjoying the benefits of central schemes,” he said. Hence there was need to see that the BJP comes to power in Telangana.
Nadda who chaired a strategy meeting of party leaders earlier, gave broad guidelines on how to strengthen the party. He said by December-end all party elections including that of state president would be completed.
