TDP Chief vows to work hard to Make Party returns to power

Vastavam web: TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday vowed to work hard to see that his party returned to power in the State. Addressing a State-level meeting of the party activists here, he said the TDP has a bright future ahead. The party would appoint new committees in each Lok Sabha constituency right from village-level. He also said that the strength of youth in the party would be increased to about 40 to 50 per cent. There was a need to infuse young blood into the party, he opined.

Naidu said the TDP was analysing all factors behind the party’s defeat in the 2019 Assembly elections. He pointed out that though the TDP had won only 23 Assembly seats, it had secured 40 per cent votes in the State.

Every leader had the responsibility to protect the party workers, he said. Naidu warned that he would not tolerate if the YSRCP workers continued their attacks on the TDP activists. He said the TDP never indulged in such attacks while it was in power during the last five years. He congratulated the MLAs and MLCs for strongly raising their voice on people’s problems in the recent Assembly session.
