Vastavam web: Andhra Jyothy management has accepted that its office space in Palacharla gram panchayat of East Godavari district is illegal. The case pertaining to Andhra Jyothy office came for hearing in AP High Court on Thursday. One behalf of Andhra Jyothy, advocate Dammalapati Srinivas argued in the court. He appealed to the court to give an interim stay on dismantling the concrete structure.
The advocate on behalf of government argued that Building Penalization Scheme (BPS) is not valid for construction that happened on or before August 31st, 2018 whereas Andhra Jyothy managed has applied for permits on December 29, 2018. The advocate further said Andhra Jyothy is misleading by claiming that they have completed the construction of their office space by August.
After hearing the arguments from both the sides, Justice Kongara Vijayalakshmi has refused to give an interim stay which is a setback for Andhra Jyothy. The court added that there is a stay already on this case and an interim stay is not possible.
