Vastavam web: Former MP and TPCC working president Ponnam Prabhakar lashed out at Telangana BJP leaders and chief Laxman for making controversial comments on Congress party. Earlier, Laxman said, Congress is in ICU and Gandhi Bhavan should have a to-let board in its entrance.
Reacting quite strongly Prabhakar said, BJP leaders are new beggars in the state. “They were in power in the national capital last five years and should disclose what they have done to Telangana. It’s laughable that a party which lost deposit in 105 constituencies is giving us free advices. If BJP was so strong why did not Muralidhar contest from Karimnagar,” questioned Ponnam.
On the victory of BJP in the Lok Sabha elections, Ponnam said, “People wanted to defeat Kavitha and B Vinod and so they have voted for BJP. This doesn’t mean that BJP is the alternative to TRS in Telangana.
