Andhra People can Take Ration Goods in Telangana

Vastavam web: The government of India’s new project ‘Ration Portability’ i.e, ‘One Nation – One Card’ has undergone a trail run in Telangana. The Ration Portability enables people with valid ration card can take goods from anywhere in this country. The centre wants to implement this by next year June and so from August 1st, this project will get underway in four states as two clusters i.e, Andhra-Telangana and Gujarat-Maharashtra.

As part of the trail run, the Telangana Civil Supplies Department has called selective people from Andhra with valid ration card to get the ration commodities. The trail run was a successful one while the officials are watchful about other aspects that may disturb.

But this portability was first introduced in Telangana. As it proved to be a worthy one, the Government of India took this initiative as a large number of poor people migrate to different states in the country for the sake of work.
