Governor Narasimhan Rejects The Telangana Municipal Bill

Vastavam web: In a huge setback to the TRS government, Governor ESL Narasimhan did not approve the new Municipal Bill passed by the Telangana assembly. According to the media reports, Narasimhan has raised objections on few clauses in the bill and as per the Governor’s new suggestions, the Telangana government passed an ordinance.

The Governor was not convinced with this clause and he also pointed a few loopholes in the bill. Hence Narasimhan did not approve the bill and sent it back to the government with his recommendations. After considering this, the Telangana government issued an ordinance doing the necessary changes.
