Vastavam web: After a heated political campaign and a sweeping victory, Jagan Mohan Reddy took charge as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh on Thursday as Governor ESL Narasimhan administered the oath of office and secrecy to the YSRCP chief at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium in Vijayawada, amid huge cheers from the thousands of people who had gathered to witness the event. After taking oath, Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has announced that he would give clean and corruption free rule in the state and asked the people of Andhra Pradesh to give six months to one year time to revamp the state administration. Jaganmohan Reddy said the YCP government would award contract works in a transparent manner and would appoint a judicial commission for the scrutiny of applications. He thanked the people of Andhra Pradesh for choosing as the CM of Andhra Pradesh and again assured that the administration will be revamped and revolutionary reforms will be introduced to check corruption in the State.
