Amaravati recognised as heritage city: Narendra Modi

Vastavam web: After laying a foundation stone for Krishnapatnam BPCL coastal terminal project in Guntur, prime minister Narendra Modi began his speech in Telugu. Modi hailed Tikkana, Gurram Jashwa, Vavilala Gopalakrishnaiah and Nayudamma who emerged as great personalities from Guntur. PM Modi said that Amaravati is recognised as a heritage city and is being developed by the centre and it will be turned as an energy centre for AP and India.  He also said that projects inaugurated in the state are not only important to AP but also for the whole nation. Terming Amaravati as an Oxford of Andhra Pradesh, the prime minister said that many youngsters come to the city to fulfil their dreams.
