AP CM Chandrababu cancels his Vijayadasami festival celebrations

Vastavam web: AP CM Chandrababu Naidu cancelled all his previous schedules to celebrate this Vijayadasami festival season with his family members and he decided to stay back in Srikakulam district to spearhead cyclone relief activities. It may be recalled Srikakulam faced lot of damages and destruction in the recent Titli cyclone recently.

From Srikakulam itself, Naidu extended his festival greetings to the people of the state. Actors Balakrishna, Jr NTR and others have made considerable contributions to relief works going on in the district now. Meanwhile, elaborate security arrangements were taken for CM and Ministers’ visits. Maoists in Andhra Orissa Border have released a letter warning of serious consequences and accusing TDP leaders of trying to promote mining activities in agency areas.

Meanwhile, as usual, rumours spread in social media about another cyclone going to hit Srikakulam. This has come as an alarming news among people there. But meteorology department officials removed any chance of another cyclone immediately. Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan is touring in cyclone-hit areas in Srikakulam currently. He said the people here have suffered greatly because of recent cyclone and he gave a call to all Telugus to extend help to the victims.
