Vastavam web: Legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam has been admitted to a private hospital on Thursday (July 26) after complaining of chest pain. Doctors are treating him and he is said to be in a stable condition, according to reports. This is not the first time that Mani Ratnam’s health has caused concern for his fans. He survived a heart attack in 2004 when he was filming Yuva. In 2009 and 2015, the actor had complained of chest pain and subsequently recovered from it.
On the professional front, Mani Ratnam recently wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming film Chekka Chivantha Vaanam. The film, tipped to be on industrial pollution, stars STR aka Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami, Arun Vijay, Jyothika, Aishwarya Rajesh, Aditi Rao Hydari and Dayana Erappa in the lead roles.
