M Kodandaram formally launched new party ‘Telangana Jana Samiti’

Vastavam web: The Telangana Joint Action Committee chairman M Kodandaram yesterday formally launched a new political party the ‘Telangana Jana Samiti.’
The TJAC, along with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), had been at the forefront of the movement for a separate state from 2009 to 2014.”After detailed discussions the decision was taken to form a new political party,” he said here.

He accused the Telangana Chief Minister of taking all decisions himself.”All decisions were centralised at the state secretariat and all the systems have lost their respect. He further alleged that the aspirations for which separate Telangana agitation was taken up were not fulfilled yet, and added TJAC was floating a new party to seek “positive change.”

Kodandaram said the party’s flag would be unveiled on April 4 followed by a public meeting on April 29 in the state capital marking the TJS formation.
