Google partnered Larsen & Toubro to set up 150 Wi-Fi hotspots in Pune

Vastavam web: Tech giant Google today said it has partnered with Larsen & Toubro to set up 150 ‘Google Station’ Wi-Fi hotspots in Pune as part of Pune Smart City Development Corporation Ltd’s Smart City project.The US-based firm already has a partnership with RailTel, under which Wi-Fi Internet services are provided at over 270 railway stations in the country.Google said these hotspots will be available at public places like gardens, hospitals and police stations, helping people get access to free Wi-Fi.
