Vastavam Web: JanaSena Chief Pawan Kalyan who began his political tour in Telangana with ‘Chalore Chalore Chal’ yatra from Kondagattu in Karimnagar District on Monday held discussions with the Jana Sena activists today. Addressing the gathering at Peddapalli in Karimnagar, Pawan Kalyan raised ‘Jai Telangana’ slogan before starting his speech. Explaining that Telangana has given him rebirth, while Andhra has given him birth. Jana Sena Party (JSP) leader Pawan Kalyan announced that the party would contest the 2019 polls in both in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. “The party will contest in all the seats that it feels it has the strength,” he said in Karimnagar. The assessment of the party’s strength in all the constituencies will be made prior to two months of the elections. Pawan Kalyan mentioned that ‘Jai Telangana’ is a powerful mantra which excites him and added that it is as powerful as the ‘Vandemataram’ slogan. Interestingly, people gathered at the venue were shouting ‘CM Pawan Kalyan’ Slogans while the Jana Sena leader informed that the party’s political agenda would be announced before March 14th.
Pawan Kalyan did not plan public meetings at any place. In the evening, he spoke to the media and later met party workers. he will not unnecessarily pick up fights with the governments or make statements to create political instability. The actor said Jana Sena will study people’s issues and try to resolve them by bringing them to the notice of the respective governments. He defended his recent meeting with Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao. The Jana Sena chief said Rao played a key role in the formation of Telangana and that was why people reposed faith in him. He also praised the Chief Minister, saying he was working hard to solve people’s problems. “What is wrong in meeting chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and conveying greetings to him on the occasion of new year?” he said countering a question when asked why he had met KCR. Pawan Kalyan also described KCR as a ‘hardworking and smart chief minister’.
Pawan Kalyan said he did not consult his brother Chiranjeevi on the political course he had undertaken. “I do not get involve my family members in this. I have not taken his advice and will also not discuss it with him,” he said. During the first leg of his tour, the actor-turned-politician will hold meetings with his party cadres in Telangana for three days January 22 to 24. On his maiden political tour after announcing last year that Jana Sena will contest the 2019 elections in both the states, he said he will interact with party workers over the next two days. The party will thoroughly study the people’s problems in Telangana. After his three-day Telangana tour, the Jana Sena Party leader will start his yatra in Andhra Pradesh. The actor announced that he will launch ‘praja yatra’ in Andhra Pradesh on January 27 from Anantapur. He will visit Ongole to study the problems faced by people due to fluorosis and kidney ailments. This will be followed by a visit to tribal areas in Visakhapatnam district.
