IFFI will pay tributes to industry veterans says director Sunit Tandon

Vastavam web: As a mark of respect for their invaluable contribution to the Indian cinema, the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) will pay tributes to industry veterans who passed away, said the festival director Sunit Tandon.The festival will pay homage to actors Om Puri, Vinod Khanna, Tom Alter, Reema Lagoo, Jayalalithaa, directors such as Abdul Majid, Kundan Shah, Dasari Narayana Rao, and cinematographer Ramanand Sengupta.

Puri’s “Ardh Satya”, Khanna’s “Achanak”, “Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro”, directed by Shah and Alter’s “Ocean of an Old Man”, will be screened at the festival.”Savalee” starring Lagoo, “Ayirathil Oruvan” featuring Jayalalithaa, “Chameli Memsaab” directed by Majid, Rao’s “Osey Ramulamma” and Sengupta’s “Nagarik”, will also be screened.
