150 Chinese businessmen attended China-India trade meet

Vastavam web: Over 150 Chinese businessmen attended a China-India forum in central China organised to tap the huge potential of bilateral cooperation in trade and investment sectors.The theme of the China-India Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum was ‘The Reality and Potential of Economic and Trade Cooperation between Hunan and India’ with a special focus on agriculture, farm mechanisations and food processing, according to a statement issued by Indian Consul General Y K Sailas Thangal in Guangzhou.Thangal underlined the huge potential for trade and investment cooperation between India and China and also elaborated the current status of agriculture and farm mechanisations as well as the food processing and food parks in India.
He also pointed out the immense investment opportunities in these sectors which is a priority for the Indian government.The India-China Economic and Cultural Council and the India Hunan Chamber of Commerce also took part in the forum.
