Death of Four “hardcore” terrorists confirmed by Pak army chief

Vastavam web: The death sentences of four “hardcore” terrorists were on Friday confirmed by Pakistan’s army chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa after they were convicted by special military courts for their involvement in terrorism and killing 16 people.Riaz Ahmed, Hafeez ur Rehman, Muhammad Saleem and Kifayat Ullah were members of a proscribed organisation, army’s media wing Inter Services Public Relations said in a statement.
They were involved in killing of 16 persons and injuring eight others, the statement said, adding that arms were also recovered from their possession.The military courts have also given prison terms of various duration to 23 convicts.
