Siddhanth Kapoor was in talks to reprise the role of dad’s role for “Judwaa 2”

Vastavam web: Siddhanth Kapoor featured in “Judwaa” as a child artiste and the actor says he was in talks to reprise the role of his father, Shakti Kapoor for the remake “Judwaa 2” but it did not work out.In the 1997 action-comedy starring Salman Khan, Shakti played the comedic role of Rangeela. In the David Dhawan directed film, Siddhanth also featured in a few scenes as “junior totla” when he was in the seventh grade.The actor says for the upcoming remake, which has Varun Dhawan in double roles, he did have a conversation with the director.
The actor says he vividly remembers the shoot of “Judwaa” at film city where his very first take was approved.Currently, the actor is gearing up for the release of “Haseena Parkar”. The biographical-crime-drama, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, will see him co-star with his sister, Shraddha Kapoor.”I am going to Leh Ladak this September. I don’t know if I am going to be here for my film’s premiere. I will be probably shooting there, it is a big film.”I am so pumped up to play this Army man, who is still alive. It is amazing to play a positive character like this after playing negative ones,” he says.
