Two persons killed, 25 missing in China landslide

Vastavam web: A landslide buried nearly 34 homes in southwest China’s Guizhou province today, killing at least two persons and leaving 25 others missing, a media report said.The landslide affected 34 households, according to Bijie city’s information department.Rescuers have managed to pull out six persons, among whom two died and 25 others remain missing, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.Last week, Typhoon Hato, the strongest to hit southern China in 53 years, left a trail of death and destruction in the region.
The 13th typhoon landed in the city of Zhuhai in southern China’s Guangdong province, killing at least eight people.The government evacuated 26,817 people to temporary shelters. About 664 hectares of farmland has been damaged.
