Chinese school smashed mobiles of students as they crossed their words

Vastavam web: The teachers in a China school have imposed a different punishment on the students for crossing their instructions. They have been getting tough on mobile phone use during class time by smashing up any devices they confiscate. It doesn’t matter whether they are iPhones, or similarly expensive devices, they all get the same treatment and are being smashed to pieces since the tough new rules have been introduced. Education chiefs say that kids who agreed to send their children to school need to accept the rule and reports from the city of Zhengzhou, capital of central China’s Henan Province, said that at least five high school students had their mobile phones confiscated and destroyed beyond repair by one particularly strict teacher.Pictures of the smashed smartphones circulated social media, along with sympathy from netizens who said the punishment was too harsh. However, according to reports, both students and their parents were well aware of the new rule, which forbids the use of mobile phones in class and allows teachers to dispose of the devices if a student is found out. Most parents even agreed to the rule, reports said. But there have also been complaints from parents about the “costly” new regulation.
