Cutting edge massage: New therapy to de-stress involves being pounded with knives

Vastavam web: There’s a new craze that’s been around for nearly 3,000 years. It’s the Chinese Knife Massage, or the Taiwan Knife Massage if you’re in Taiwan. If it looks like tenderizing a side of meat, that’s because it is like tenderizing meat, only you’re the meat. It can be a full-body massage, or just around the neck and shoulders, but you don’t have to take off your clothes. And, you don’t have to worry about being sliced and diced, or even minced up like some garlic. That’s because a massage knife doesn’t have an edge. It’s, literally, not the sharpest knife in the drawer. The idea is not to draw blood, but to use the heavy blade to reach deeper into muscles than fingers can go, which lets the metal remove negative energy from the body for a very happy ending.
