Pawan says he is ready to quit films for public service Decided to contest from Ananthapur

Vastavam web : Supreme of Janasena Party, actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan stated that he was ready to quit accepting new acting offers, so he could focus on politics. The Jana Sena party chief was addressing party workers from Anantapur district in Andhra, who had applied for the jobs of party spokespersons, analysts, content writers and speakers, among other things. According to reports, Pawan Kalyan even rebutted criticism that he was “only a part time politician and full time actor”. He also announced that he would undertake a Padayatra in the district soon.

Andhra Minister and TDP leader Nara Lokesh had said that politics was a “fulltime” job, while referring to his cousin Jr NTR. However, many assumed that the remarks were directed at Kalyan.  “I know several leaders who have amassed wealth and are sitting at home, but are still called “full time” politicians.I am even prepared to forego acting for the sake of taking up brisk political activity for the Jana Sena” Pawan Kalyan was quoted as saying. At the meeting, which was held at the party headquarters in Hyderabad, Kalyan reiterated that he would contest elections from Andhra’s Anantapur district in the 2019 Assembly elections.
