Delhi government gears up to prevent dengue and chikungunya

Vastavam web: The Delhi government has ordered inspection of construction sites and its residential colonies here to check breeding grounds for mosquitoes as it gears up to prevent possible outbreak of dengue and chikungunya.We have formed several teams of engineers who will inspect construction sites and government’s residential colonies, and find the breeding ground for mosquitoes,” a senior government official said.The official said that the teams have been asked to submit their reports at the earliest so that action could be taken against violators.Till April 15 this year, 27 cases of dengue have been reported while 79 chikungunya cases have been reported.
