Vastavam web: Employees Provident Fund Organisation has declared that there is no need to provide a medical certificate for claiming advance payment for medical treatment hereafter. According to the new proposal Central government employees department made amendments to Employment Provident Scheme clauses 68J and 68N in 1952. Prior to it as per the rules and regulations the person who wants to claim for self or dependant or oparation or purchasing machines for physically disabled must provide a medical certificate. Now with the amendments a customer can claim a minimum basic pay and D.A. value should not exceed sixth months salary, declared CMPF. A notification concerned is released on 25th of this month, said higher officials.
