Indian Army banned Patanjali Amla juice

Vastavam web: Baba Ram Dev’s Patanjali Ayurvedic company product Amla juice is failed in laboratory test, so the Indian Army banned Patanjali Amla juice from their canteens. It questioned Patanjali company FMCG, he answered that Amla juice is a medical product, no harm will be caused by consemption of the juice. West Bengal Health Laboratories, Kalkatta tested the Patajali Amla juice, as it failed in the laboratory test the Bengal govt banned sales of the product and gave a showcause notice to the company.
Army canteen stores department declared that they will respond after hearing the answer from the company. Patanjali defends that Amla juice is an Ayurvedic medicine and it should be tested according to the parameters of Department of Ayush Ministry, the rules of Food Safty and Standards Authorities of India couldn’t applicable to the product. Anyhow by the consemption of the Amla juice no harm will be caused to human body.
