Goods train derails in Haryana, wagons fall in river

Vastavam web: Some good wagons fell in Markanda river in Haryana as a goods train de rails on the bridge today. Around 15 wagons of a goods train, loaded with coal, derailed on Thursday in Haryana’s Ambala district. The coal laden bogies fell into Markanda river The driver and the guard of the train were safe and none of them were injured.Traffic on the Ambala-Saharanpur section was disrupted following the incident. Rescue team was deployed to restore the traffic in this route. The cause of the accident, which took place while the train was crossing the bridge, is not known.
